Bio
James B. Robinson, a Freelance Photographer, has over sixteen years of experience in Wedding, Portrait, Sports, Event, Advertising and Legal Record Photography. He has been using Minolta equipment since 1975 when he purchased his first SLR, a Minolta SRT-201. Through the years James owned and operated one or more of each Minolta body ever produced.
In 2005, James laid down his film system and switched to Konica/Minolta Digital. In 2007, he began using Sony's A700 as his primary camera system.
James started shooting Rodeo Action in 1994 as a team member of Diamond-O Photography covering Youth, High School and Professional level Rodeo throughout Southeast Texas. In 1997, he became the Lead Photographer for the team, which led to a Magazine contract two years later.
James is currently employed as a Civil/Structural Design Supervisor for an Engineering & Construction firm in Houston, Texas. He is a full time single parent of a Daughter and a Son.
